What is Web Site Hosting? Put very simply, it's the physical location of the files that make up a web site. There's actually a lot more to it than that, but that's our headache, not yours! If you instruct us to design and develop your web site, we will need to place it on a server connected to the Internet so that visitors can gain access to it. There are two options: We can upload your web site to your server or to that of your Internet Service Provider. This is not our preferred option, as it is more time consuming to liaise with you and your ISP to gain access to the servers - we have less control. Alternatively, we can host your site for you.  This is our preferred option as we have more control over the process, we can offer premium services without the premium and because it's easier for us, it's cheaper for you.
